This week, KBS2's features three dedicated doctors who traveled to the remote wilderness of Sri Lanka for a medical mission.

Late last year, the terrifying power of a tsunami swept through many nations, shocking the world with tens of thousands of deaths and disappearances. Sri Lanka was one of the countries that suffered the most severe damage.

Sri Lanka continues to suffer from the aftermath of the tsunami. While slow recovery efforts and harsh environments exhaust the people, the most urgent need is for medical facilities. Even the global relief aid often fails to reach the remote tribes living deep in the jungle. Due to the lack of healthcare facilities, people in these isolated areas are easily exposed to various diseases.

Dr. Lee Moon-won (Korean Medicine), Dr. Han Ki-deok (Dermatology), and Dr. Hwang Seong-sik (Dentistry) travel deep into the wilderness of Sri Lanka. Accompanied by actress Lee Sol, they provide medical services to the remote villagers who have been desperately waiting for a healing touch.

Their destination is a remote area called 'Mahiyangana,' which takes eight hours to reach from the capital, Colombo. The Vedda tribe living there suffers from poverty and various diseases due to their isolation in the jungle. These three Korean doctors have stepped forward to treat their illnesses and soothe their hearts with compassionate medical care.

This program will be broadcast on Sunday, September 25th, at 8:50 AM on KBS2 TV.
Meanwhile, , which has enjoyed popularity as a long-running program for the past 10 years, is scheduled to end its run on the 30th of next month.
