Not a long time ago I successfully finished treatment of one patient. He hada frontal hair loss and received treatment. He was very happy to hear that he was fine, so hedidn’t need to come and wear a hat anymore.

Every time he was coming to the clinic, he was always wearing ahat, so I could feel how much it meant to him to take it off.

He said to me, 'Doctor, if I`m fine now then I don`t need this hatanymore. If I leave this hat at the clinic will you please hang it somewhere?' Hewaited for my answer.

I asked him why he decided to do that and he said that “Doctor, you mighthave patients with the same problem as mine was, so I want to tell yourpatients through this hat not to give up. It`s a little bit embarrassing toreveal my face, so would it possible to convey my message through this hat?” “Yes,I will do that” – I replied.

Whenever I saw this hat I could reflect on my sense of duty and a heavy responsibility as a medical person.

Patients by touching the hat here and there could betouched and felt how the patient felt during the treatment.
