Part 3 of our special series, A Journey Through Hair, is here.
On Camellia Oil, the Finest Hair Dressing of Its Day...
In the old days, people washed their hair only about once every fortnight or once a month.
Following the teaching that our body, hair and skin are gifts from our parents, people did not cut their hair, so everyone wore it long,
and with hair worn in a coiled bun or a topknot, washing it was no small task, which made frequent washing and grooming difficult.
A Journey Through Hair continues in April.
