NTV, broadcast across the Russian-speaking world
NTV is one of Russiaโs largest private broadcasters, reaching the whole country and Russian-speaking regions well beyond it.
For Russians living abroad it airs in two editions: NTV Mir for Europe and Central Asia, and NTV America for viewers in the United States and Australia.
The Korea episode: Seoulโs standout addresses
On Poedem, poedim! the host travels to well-known destinations and restaurants around the world, meets local figures, and tries everything himself. Previous episodes have been filmed in France, the UK, Germany, Singapore, Turkey, China, Thailand, Hungary, Cambodia, Greece, Israel, Hong Kong, Montenegro, and elsewhere.
The Korea trip was built around the standout places in Seoul and Busan. In Seoul, Lee Moon Won Clinic was one of them โ the segment had the host learning about Korean medicine and experiencing it firsthand.
From first principles to a hair diagnosis
Korean medicine is unfamiliar territory for most European viewers, so the segment started at the beginning: the basic principles, how and why hair loss came to be treated this way, and the methods developed at the clinic itself.
John Warren then sat down with Dr. Lee Moon Won for a hair and scalp diagnosis of his own.
The Relax head spa course
He went on to try the Relax course from the clinicโs head spa lineup. Afterward he said the tightness in his scalp and shoulders had completely let go, and had nothing but praise for it.
The crew thanked the clinic on their way out, saying they expected plenty of questions from viewers in Russia and Europe once the episode aired, and that they were leaving with a lot of material.
The Korea trip aired in two parts.
