Progress: The patient was under a lot of stress after starting a new job and had been taking appetite suppressants to lose weight fast. Right after that, the hair loss came on suddenly — within a few weeks almost all of the hair on the scalp and body had fallen out. Treatment at a university hospital helped somewhat but brought side effects, so the patient stopped and switched care to our clinic. We made sure the patient ate regular, balanced meals, and along with herbal medicine we started active treatment stimulation early on. Hair soon began growing back, and with steady treatment more than 80% has now been restored.
