He has had hair loss since his late 20s and had been treated consistently with a variety of methods at several clinics, but it kept going back and forth between better and worse. After changing companies and taking on a new role, he got much busier and was drinking more often at work dinners, which made it hard to come in for treatment. So we decided to combine herbal and conventional medication to make up for the reduced in-clinic treatment.

He had been steadily improving since last fall, but frequent drinking at year-end gatherings wore him out and his hair got a little worse again.
