Treatment Progress
Frequent all-nighters and overwork while preparing a senior project led to a sudden outbreak of multiple alopecia areata patches. The patient had been treated at several other clinics, but symptoms kept getting worse, so they came to our clinic. We believed it was caused by about a year of irregular routines and heavy mental and physical stress, so along with treatment we asked them to keep a regular schedule.
We expected about six to eight months of treatment, but results showed up right away and the condition stabilized quickly. Hair began growing in the bald patches, and overall shedding that had been heavy soon dropped back to normal. We believe the fast results came from the patient cutting back on overwork and finding peace of mind.
