Clinical Notes
- Symptoms & Diagnosis
- She discovered multiple alopecia areata patches while getting her hair colored at the salon, and came to us after being treated at another clinic. She went through menopause two years ago and already had thin, fine hair, so the patches added a lot of stress. Her health checkup showed nothing unusual and she wasn't taking any medications, so it was diagnosed as autoimmune multiple alopecia areata. It appeared during menopause and was her first episode.
- Treatment Plan
- Oral herbal medicine twice a day (RH-1), a regenerative treatment once a week, a spray-on treatment applied to the patches and surrounding area once a day (RH-2), and an anti-hair-loss shampoo
- Treatment Period
- July 2019 – December 2019
