This was alopecia totalis accompanied by contact dermatitis of the scalp, so we treated the dermatitis and the hair loss at the same time. As expected, the remaining hair fell out completely before new hair began to grow. The hair has almost fully recovered, and we plan to end treatment once a small area at the back of the head improves a bit more.
